The Angels of The Seven Planets – Christmas 2016

Bearing The Star of Bethlehem
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

THE ANGELS.
The Angels of the Planets Seven,
Across the shining fields of heaven
The natal star we bring!
Dropping our sevenfold virtues down
As priceless jewels in the crown
Of Christ, our new-born King.

RAPHAEL.
I am the Angel of the Sun,
Whose flaming wheels began to run
When God Almighty’s breath
Said to the darkness and the Night,
Let there he light! and there was light!
I bring the gift of Faith.

ONAFIEL.
I am the Angel of the Moon,
Darkened to be rekindled soon
Beneath the azure cope!
Nearest to earth, it is my ray
That best illumes the midnight way;
I bring the gift of Hope!

ANAEL.
The Angel of the Star of Love,
The Evening Star, that shines above
The place where lovers be,
Above all happy hearths and homes,
On roofs of thatch, or golden domes,
I give him Charity!

ZOBIACHEL.
The Planet Jupiter is mine!
The mightiest star of all that shine,
Except the sun alone!
He is the High Priest of the Dove,
And sends, from his great throne above,
Justice, that shall atone!

MICHAEL.
The Planet Mercury, whose place
Is nearest to the sun in space,
Is my allotted sphere!
And with celestial ardor swift
I hear upon my hands the gift
Of heavenly Prudence here!

URIEL.
I am the Minister of Mars,
The strongest star among the stars!
My songs of power prelude
The march and battle of man’s life,
And for the suffering and the strife,
I give him Fortitude!

ORIFEL.
The Angel of the uttermost
Of all the shining, heavenly host,
From the far-off expanse
Of the Saturnian, endless space
I bring the last, the crowning grace,
The gift of Temperance!

A sudden light shines from the windows of the stable in the village below.

Why Creating a Shared Society is in Israel’s Best Interests – Mohammad Darawshe

Okay now that we have fought it out, we blamed you enough, we pointed our finger at you enough.. now let’s talk about what we do next

Rabbi John Rosove's Blog

The difference between creating a “Shared Society” in Israel and aspiring to “Coexistence” between Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel is substantial, and most people have no idea why creating a “shared society” is critically important for Israel’s democracy, stability, and sustainability.

A shared society does not mean that Zionism and the Jewish character of the state are sacrificed. Nor does it mean that Arab citizens will lose their identity or their narrative. It does mean that Arab Israeli citizens will share a stake in Israel as first-class citizens and thereby assure their loyalty to the state they share with Jews.

Since the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1948, following an invitation that promised social, economic and political equality to all citizens, including Arabs, the promise has not as yet been fulfilled. Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert confessed in 2007 that Israel’s Arab citizens are decidedly 2nd class citizens.

Western Capitals, Reeling over Syria, Consumed by Mass Hysteria

Western media is still complaining about the liberation of Aleppo, in that way empowering those militants, radicals, terrorists and justifying them holding people hostage, says Catherine Shakdam, from the UK’s Shafaqna Institute for Middle Eastern Studies.

Catherine Shakdam: The problem is, first of all, I don’t like calling them rebels; for me they are terrorists. The problem that we have is that those radicals are absolutely bent on inflicting as much suffering as they can on civilians. And you can see the fact that they have hijacked and taken hostage two villages… because they are trying to target those people they have labeled as being infidels. We have to remember that this is a sectarian fight when it comes to the radicals. What they are trying to do is to genocide any tiny segment of the population so they could claim they sanctified Syria and the rest of the Middle East.

What’s Happening in Aleppo Isn’t as Black and White as ‘Our Political Masters’ Make It Out to Be

Robert Fisk, The Independent’s award-winning correspondent, writes that while the bloody clash in the Syrian city is horrific, many questions remain about American and British involvement and Western media’s portrayal of the conflict. – 2016/12/14

What Do You Know about Propaganda?

Lesson One

We will begin with a few simple facts hidden from you by our governments. You are currently being misled into a  campaign of hate by the media meant to derail honest discussions. The western media in particular have side-tracked important issues concerning our future.

Let’s get into lesson one about Propaganda

How many vehicles do you own? How many kilometers do you drive per year and what is the cost of your fuel consumption?

Developers are building what I call mini-castles as a family home. Do you need 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms? You might find room to plant a flower beside the 2 or 3 car garage.

The best calculator I was able to find is from The National Geographic website. It gives you a glance at your foot print on our planet.

Give it a try since it is one of the few things really free on the Internet. Everything else is cluttered with ways to save money by spending it called advertising.

This ends lesson one on how propaganda is used every day.

What is Happening?

What on Earth is happening? The explosion of housing prices in Vancouver and Victoria is crazy, but the same thing is happening in many cities around the world, not just the big ones like Toronto, London, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, New York, San Francisco and Mumbai but also smaller communities like Kelowna, and Nashville, Tennessee. In Australia, in 2014, house prices rose by a whopping 121%.[i]

Promises, Promises. Or Are They Threats?

“Businesses hate uncertainty and until there is more flesh on the bones of all these proposals floating around..” Bloomberg Business

Rcooley123's Blog

Nearly four weeks have passed since Donald Trump became our President-Elect. Work has begun in earnest to nominate individuals to fill cabinet and other positions in the new administration. While it is still too early to tell which direction future policy decisions will take and what specific legislation may be proposed and act upon early next year, trends are beginning to demonstrate how the early stages of transition to the Trump Administration may augur depending upon an individual’s perspective.

The coming days of the lame duck Congress should prove relatively calm. With the advent of new GOP Presidential Administration, the only really pressing business before Congress this month will undoubtedly prove to be the business they have proven most reluctant to conclude throughout Obama’s tenure in office – keeping the government functioning by passing funding legislation. Expect typical shenanigans and brinkmanship to prevail once again, as they do their damnedest…
